Event Details

The Bob Morris Irish Band offers a program of traditional Irish music that is both entertaining and educational. The band plays instrumental tunes that reflect the wide variety of rhythms used in Irish traditional music – lively jigs and reels, bouncy hornpipes and polkas, and contemplative airs and planxties. The tunes are played on traditional instruments including the fiddle, flute, tin whistle, banjo, accordion, guitar and bodhran (traditional Irish drum). The band also performs songs that tell stories of Ireland and of the Irish American immigrant experience.
